As has been mentioned elsewhere in the site, Donald believes in full involvement of the owner in aspects relating to the horse.
For example, Donald will discuss and then reach mutual agreements on :

• when & where to race
• what type of race (bumper, novice, handicap, hurdle, chase etc.)
• the distance over which to race, suitable ground
• jockey

Of course, the excitement, thrill and all day enjoyment of attending the races when your horse runs can’t be matched. But there’s so much more to enjoy.
Come to the stables any morning :

• walk around the yard, see your horse close-up
• feed him/her a carrot, or a polo mint
• talk to the team
• watch your horse work on the gallops, and discuss this with the work rider and the trainer (and that’s not to mention the breathtaking scenery)
• chat with fellow owners, view the other horses in the stable, unearth the future stars - we’re all members of the same team
• generally, learn and experience more than you ever dreamed about equine magnificence!
